From Mandre there are organized one-day excursions to the nearby islands Silba and Olib as well as to the National Parks Pltivice lakes and National Park Kornati. National Park Kornati
National park Kornati is a unique archipelago in Adriatic sea, with over 80 island, islets and reefs. Due to its formation, this area is also known as a nautical paradise. One can enjoy swimming and diving in crystal clear sea, or explore the remains of churches and fortress from the Byzantine era.
Zadar is one of the most popular tourist cities on Dalmatian coast rich with historical and cultural heritage. Once you pass the City Gates inside the old town center you can visit one of the symbols of the city – St. Donatus Church and Archbishop´s Palace located at the Forum – a municipal square from the Roman era. One of the popular attractions are also Sea Organs and Greeting to the Sun.
Šibenik is located in the middle of the Dalmatian coastline, on the beautiful bay where the Krka River enters the sea. This picturesque town has settled under the St. Michael`s fortress, that played an important part in defending the town along with the Fortress of St. Nicholas, Fortress of St. John and Barone Fortress. Besides the mentioned fortress, St. James Cathedral is one of the most important landmarks in Šibenik. It`s a unique architectural wonder completely built in stone.
National Park Paklenica
National park Paklenica located at the Velebit mountain, at its highest peak. Amazing geomorphological shape and diversity of flora and fauna make this area a true wonder of nature. It is a home to some autonomic species such as black pine forests and clear mountain creeks. It is an ideal location for all those who enjoy in hiking and walking on the fresh mountain air with a spectacular view of the forest and nearby islands and clear blue sea.
